Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?Centerline Chiropractic is a cash-based practice and does not bill insurance directly. Transparent pricing is provided so patients know the cost of care before starting treatment. Patients may request documentation if they would like to submit to their insurance independently, when applicable.
Do I need a referral to schedule? No referral is needed to schedule an appointment at Centerline Chiropractic. Patients can book online or call to schedule an initial visit.
Do you offer back traction or spinal decompression?Centerline Chiropractic offers flexion-distraction therapy, which is a gentle, table-assisted chiropractic technique that uses controlled, traction-like movement. It is not the same as traditional mechanical traction, but it may be helpful for certain types of low back pain, stiffness, disc-related pain, and sciatic-type symptoms.
What is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?Dry needling and acupuncture both use thin filiform needles, but they are different treatments. Dry needling is commonly used to address muscle tension, trigger points, and pain patterns related to the musculoskeletal system. Acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles and is performed by licensed acupuncture providers.
Will I be pressured into a long treatment plan? No. Centerline Chiropractic does not use scare tactics or one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Care recommendations are based on your exam, goals, symptoms, and response to treatment.
Do I have to be adjusted or “popped” at my visit? No. Chiropractic care does not have to look the same for every patient. At Centerline Chiropractic, treatment is based on your exam, comfort level, goals, and what is appropriate for your body.
Some patients may benefit from chiropractic adjustments, while others may be better suited for gentler options like flexion-distraction, soft tissue treatment, dry needling, cold laser therapy, kinesiology taping, or home care recommendations.
If you are nervous about being adjusted, let Dr. Megan know. Your care should feel collaborative, not pressured.
